Youth (5th - 12th Grade)

Conversations on faith, life and what it means to follow Jesus.

Rise is our 5th and 6th-grade student ministry developed to invite preteens to start conversations on faith, life, and what it means to follow Jesus, and build great friendships along the way. Roots is our 7th through 12th-grade student ministry developed for middle and high school students to learn how they can be deepened and rooted in their love of Jesus and to faithfully walk out their lives in the kingdom.

We value the safety of our kids, their families, and our volunteers. We are honored each and every time we get to invest in the faith of the next generation. For that reason, we have an intentional system of measures in place to assure a safe environment for everyone. These include but are not limited to: background checks for all volunteers, CCTV in all classrooms, child safety trainings, reporting policies, Sunday parent-child ticketing system, safety team, and much more. Our RISE biweekly meetings are based on the belief preteens are uniquely positioned to RISE UP and grow in new ways of following Jesus, growing in friendships, and starting to ask deeper questions about life and faith.

These are weekly gatherings for middle/high school students to meet together for worship, teaching, small groups, and fun. Our hope is for these events to be a place where students can be equipped and learn more about how to deepen their relationship with Jesus and others.

Rise

Cory Miller, leader of our 5th and 6th grade ministry, RISE, shares the heart and vision behind this unique ministry created to meet the spiritual, emotional, and social needs of tweens. From deep theological conversations to bouncing off the wall games, RISE balances fun with formation, helping kids know who they are in Christ and build lasting friendships.
