Becoming a Man of God

1 Corinthians 13:11 says, “When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.” This year, we will be focusing our time on growing and maturing into men who follow God. Young or old, we have a calling to always press towards God and who He is calling us to be.

This retreat is open to any Vineyard church in the midwest and will be held at Riverside Bible Camp in Story City, Iowa. In addition to our main sessions, the retreat will be filled with great food, lots of free time, outdoor activities, worship, and prayer.

Last year we had over 130 men from 8 states. Sign up by April 1st to ensure your preferred lodging options, especially if you are registering as a group.

Mark Pope

Mark Pope is the Lead Pastor of The Vineyard Church in Mishawaka, Indiana. Over Mark’s 38 years in full-time ministry, he has been part of two church plants, including his current church, which Mark and his wife Denise planted in 1995. Mark has led that church through the sending of five additional church plants over the years. His present role involves being the primary teacher for The Vineyard’s four weekend services and, along with his team, trying to have a church that continues to make a difference. Personally, Mark enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities including biking, hiking, swimming, cross-country skiing, etc. Mark and Denise have three grown children and one new grandson! Life is good.
